San Francisco - this is going to be a long one folks!

One morning we were awoken by the sound of children singing. We looked out our window on the 15th floor and saw this. It is so strange to me that there was a school downtown and that their playground was on the roof!

Our hotel which was very nice and close to many things. We did more walking those 5 days than I think I did at Disneyland.

Coolest restaurant called The Stinking Rose. This was hanging from the ceiling.

More of the ceiling at The Stinking Rose. It was an Italian place.
On the ferry on our way over to Alcatraz.
Sausalito. Very cool little city, kind of reminded me of Park City, but surrounded by water instead of mountains.
At Muir woods, the Redwood Forest. Besides being freezing that day, the forest was amazing!
Coit tower.
You can't go to San Francisco without seeing a painted person. We saw about 5 of them, but this one was the coolest.
On the trolley heading to Fisherman's Wharf.
Holding on for dear life on the trolley!
This was by far the craziest thing that happened to us in S.F. After getting out of Wicked we were in need of transportation back to the hotel. We were just standing around waiting for an empty cab when this man comes running up to us telling us we can have a ride in his limo for $20 and that cabs are stinky and all the drivers have lice and they are dirty and we should not take cab, but that we need to ride in his limo. He then says to wait right there and he will find some more people to fill the limo. About 5 minutes later he comes back with 6 other normal people and we all jump in his limo. We then proceed to have the funniest, scariest, craziest ride of our lives. Our driver never stopped talking and swearing and just being all around inappropriate. He told us numerous times that he was drunk and high and also all about his personal life including his sex life with his chinese girlfriend that was 20 years younger than him. Eventually we made it home, shocked, but grateful to be alive. This is why we should travel with men, we have too hard a time saying no!

Before the horrendous limo ride! I absolutely love Wicked by-the-way. Definitely recommend it to everyone. It was very funny and entertaining.
Only in S.F. will you see a rat on a cat on a dog walking down the street.
After our wonderful make-overs at the MAC counter in Macy's.

My make-up artist, Bradley. He was very nice and did a great job. Very entertaining also!

All in all it was a wonderful, but exhausting trip. I loved being with my sister and getting a break from being a mom for 5 days. But next year it is a beach vacation for us! Nice and relaxing and hot!

That looks like such a great trip! I have never stayed right in SF, but I bet that was great. Also, always wanted to go to the Stinking Rose! I could never convince Dan to go to the one in los angeles.

I am glad you got a chance to go on a nice girls trip!
